1. Be a minimum of 8 characters.
2. For systems that permit it, must contain 3 of the 4 following characteristics:
at least one number character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character, or one special character.
3. Be unique from the previous passwords used.
4. Be different than your login ID or a variation of your login ID.
